In $5$ throws of a die, getting $1$ or $2$ is a success. The mean number of successes is

\[\begin{array}{1 1}(1)\frac{5}{3}&(2)\frac{3}{5}\\(3)\frac{5}{9}&(4)\frac{9}{5}\end{array}\]

Given $n=5$
getting 1 or 2 is a success .
$p=\large\frac{2}{6}=\frac{1}{3}$
mean =np $= 5 \times \large\frac{1}{3} =\frac{5}{3}$
Hence 1 is the correct answer.
