If $C$ is capacity and $V$ is the potential across the condenser, what will be the dimensional representation of $\large\frac{1}{2}$$CV^2$

$\large\frac{1}{2}$$CV^2=\large\frac{1}{2}\;\frac{charge}{potential} $$\times (potential)^2$
$\qquad\quad=\large\frac{1}{2}\;$${charge} \times \large\frac{work}{charge}$
$\qquad\quad=\large\frac{1}{2} $$work$
It has same unit as work.
Hence D is the correct answer.
