Volt is equivalent to

\[(a)\;\frac{Ergs}{centimeter} \quad (b)\;\frac{Newton}{coulomb} \quad (c)\;\frac{Joules}{coulomb}\quad (d)\;\frac{Erg}{Ampere}\]

$V(Potential)=\large\frac{Work\;done}{charge}$
$=\large\frac{Joules}{coulomb}$
Hence volt is equivalent to $\large\frac{Joules}{coulomb}$
Hence c is the correct answer.
