Let $AC=CB=S$
Let $v$ be the velocity at $c$
$v^2-6^2=2as$
$8^2-v^2=2as$
$2v^2=6^2+8^2=100$
$\quad v=\sqrt {50}$
$\qquad =5 \sqrt 2 m/s$
Hence c is the correct answer.
