The velocity time (v-t) graph of a moving object is given by the following figure. The maximum acceleration is

$ a)1 \;cm^/s^2 \\ b)2 \;cm/s^2 \\ c)3 \;cm/s^2 \\ d)6\; cm/s^2 $

maximum acceleration is from $t=30$ to $t=40$
$a=\large\frac{\Delta v}{\Delta t}$
$\quad=\large\frac{80-20}{40-30}$
$\quad=\large\frac{60}{10}$
$\quad=6 \;cm /s^2$
Hence d is the correct answer.
