A nozzle is discharging water at a rate of 200 litre per second with a speed of 10 m per second. If the water strikes a wall at right angles and does not bounce of the wall, find the force F newton exerted by the wall on water. mass of 1 litre of the water is 1kg

Mass of water =200 kg
momentum destroyed per second =mv
$=200 \times 10\; kg \;m/s$
Impulse =change in momentum
$F \times 1\; NS=2000$
$F=2 \times 10 ^3 N$
Hence a is the correct answer.
