Let acceleration of system be a
For mass $A=T-mg=ma$-----(1)
For mass $B=T_1+mg-T=ma$-----(2)
For mass $C=T_1-mg=ma$-----(3)
Solving the three equations we get
$T_1=\large\frac{2mg}{3}$
Hence b is the correct answer.
