A cyclist moves in circular path of radius $100 m$ If the coefficient of friction is 0.2, then the maximum velocity with which the cyclist must take the turn with leaning inwards

\[(a)\;9.8 m/s\quad (b)\;1.4 m/s \quad (c)\;140 m/s\quad (d)\;14 m/s\]

$v=\sqrt {\mu r g}$
$\quad=\sqrt {0.2 \times 100 \times 10}$
$\quad=10 \sqrt 2$
$\quad=14 m/s$
Hence d is the correct answer.
