A horse pulls a wagon with a force of $360\; N$ at an angle of $60^{\circ}$ with horizontal at a speed of $10 km/hr$. The Power of the horse is

\[(a)\;1000 \;W\quad (b)\;500 \;W \quad (c)\; 2000 \;W \quad (d)\;750 \;W\]

Power $= \hat F.\hat V$
$\qquad= F \times v \times \cos 60$
$\quad v= 10 km/hr$
$\qquad=10 \times \large\frac{5}{18}$$m/s$
Power$= 360 \times 10 \times \large\frac{5}{18} \times \frac{1}{2}$
$\qquad= 500 \;W$
Hence b is the correct answer.
