What is STD? List out the various STD's. How is it transmitted? What are its symptoms? What are the complications the STD could lead to?

Diseases or infections which are transmitted through sexual intercourse are collectively called sexually transmitted diseases or venereal diseases(VD) or reproductive tract infections. (RTIs) Gonorrhoea, Syphilis, Genital Herpes, Genital warts, Chlamydiasis, Trichomoniases, Hepatitis, AIDS are of common occurrence. It is transmitted through unprotected ***, having multiple sexual partners and also with infected person. Itching, fluid discharge, slight pain, swellings are symptoms of STDs. It would lead to pelvic inflammatory diseases, abortions, still births, ectopic pregnancies, infertility or even cancer of reproductive tract.
