An electron collides with an atom, exciting an electron in the atom from it

An electron collides with an atom, exciting an electron in the atom from it's ground state (0 eV). The initial velocity of a incoming electron is 2*10^6 m/sec and after the collision it has a velocity of 1.6*10^6 m/sec. What is the energy of excited electron in the atom after the collision in eV?
calculation went wrong. This should be V2-V1 but while putting the value you put V1- V2.
