If molecular weight of glucose-1-phosphate is 260 and its density is 1.5g $cm^{-3}$ ,what is the average volume occupied by 1 molecule of this compound ?

$\begin{array}{1 1}(a)\;4.3\times 10^{-23}cm^3&(b)\;0.67cm^3\\(c)\;0.17\times 10^{23}cm^3&(d)\;2.88\times 10^{-22}cm^3\end{array}$

Mass =Volume $\times$ Density
$260=Volume\times 1.5$
$\therefore$Volume of N molecules =$\large\frac{260}{1.5}$
Where $N=6.023\times 10^{23}$ molecules
$\therefore$Volume of 1 molecule=$\large\frac{260}{1.5\times 6.023\times 10^{23}}$
$\Rightarrow 2.88\times 10^{-22}$
Hence (d) is the correct answer.
