$Mg(OH)_2$ in the form of milk of magnesia is used to neutralize excess stomach acid .How many moles of stomach acid can be neutralized by 1g of $Mg(OH)_2$? (Molar mass of $Mg(OH)_2=58.33)$

$Mg(OH)_2+2HCl\rightarrow MgCl_2+2H_2O$
Number of moles of stomach acid neutralized.
$\Rightarrow 2\times$no of moles of $Mg(OH)_2$
$\Rightarrow 2\times \large\frac{1}{58.33}$$=0.0343$
Hence (b) is the correct answer.
