A body of mass m moving with a constant velocity V hits another body of the same mass moving with velocity V but in the opposite direction and sticks to it. The velocity of the compound body after collision is

\[\begin {array} {1 1} (a)\;V & \quad (b)\;2V \\ (c)\;zero & \quad  (d)\;4V \end {array}\]

Net momentum before collision =0
Net momentum after collision =0
So the correct answer is 0
