A uniform rod of mass m and length L is suspended with two massless strings as shown. If the rod is at rest in a horizontal position, the ratio of the tensions in the two strings?

For transnational equations:
$mg =T_1+T_2$
Taking torque about A for rotational equation:
$mg \times \large\frac{L}{4}$$=T_2 \times \large\frac{3L}{4}$
$=> T_1 = 2\large\frac{mg}{3}$
$=> T_2 = \large\frac{mg}{3}$
$T_1:T_2=2:1$
