The damped natural frequency is

a.       Lower or equal to the undamped natural frequency  b.      Same as  undamped natural frequency c.       Higher than undamped natural frequency d.      Is zero

Damped natural frequency is always lower than undamped natural frequency.
This is equivalent to roots of a quadratic equation.
If they are real roots it is akin to a undamped system., if they are complex conjugate with large imaginary value then it is lowly damped & it is critically damped if the roots just break as real numbers.
Hence a is the correct answer.
