# True or False: If A is skew symmetric matrix, then $A^2$ is a symmetric matrix.

TRUE A square matrix A is said to be skew symmetric if $A'=-A$ and symmetric matrix $A'=A$ Consider $A'=-A$ By taking square on both side we get $(A')^2=(-A)^2$ $(A')^2= A^2$   $A^2$ is symmetric matrix
