If for same temperature we consider the following two reactions, then Collision I is successful and II is not because of what?

$\begin{array}{1 1}(a)\;Catalyst\\(b)\;Collision\\(c)\;Kinetic\;energy\\(d)\;Geometry\end{array}$

1 Answer

Collision I is in perfect geometry and molecules have proper orientation .So collision is very successful while orientation is arbitrary in II-collision,so it is unsuccessful.
Hence (d) is the correct answer.
