A bag contains 5 black and 3 white balls. Two balls are drawn from the bag at random and without replacement. The probability of obtaining both white balls is :

$\begin {array} {1 1} (1)\;\large\frac{5}{28} & \quad (2)\;\large\frac{1}{9} \\ (3)\;\large\frac{3}{28} & \quad (4)\;None\: of \: these \end {array}$

The bag contains 5 black and 3 white balls. Let $P(WW)$ represent the
probability of the event that both of the balls are white.
This probability is
$ \large\frac{3}{8} \times \large\frac{2}{7}$
$ = \large\frac{6}{56} = \large\frac{3}{28}$
