Three coins are tossed. The probability that not more than two coins will fall with head upwards is

$\begin {array} {1 1} (1)\;\large\frac{5}{8} & \quad (2)\;\large\frac{7}{8} \\ (3)\;\large\frac{3}{8} & \quad (4)\;None\: of \: these \end {array}$

P( not more than 2 head ) = P( at least one tail )
=1-P( all tails )
$ = 1 - \large\frac{1}{2} \times \large\frac{1}{2} \times \large\frac{1}{2}$
$ 1 - \large\frac{1}{8}$
$ \large\frac{7}{8}$
