$P(A)+P(B)=P(A \cup B ) + P(A \cap B)$
$ = 0.5 + 0.4=0.9$
$ \therefore P(A')+P(B') = 1- P(A)+1-P(B)$
$ = 2-0.9$
$ = 1.1 $
Ans : (3)
