Approximately 45.0litre of 4.360M HCl were required for several experiments.How many litre of concentrated acid (37.5% by wt HCl) will be required?The specific gravity of conc. acid was $1.1875gml^{-1}$

Meq of HCl required=$45000\times 4.360$
$\Rightarrow 196200$
$\therefore \large\frac{w_{HCl}}{36.5}$$\times 1000=196200$
$w_{HCl}=7161.3g$
$37.5g$ HCl are present in 100g solution
$7161.3g$ HCl are present in $\large\frac{100\times 7161.3}{37.5}$
$\Rightarrow 19096.8g$ solution.
Volume of solution=$\large\frac{\text{Wt of solution}}{\text{density of solution}}$
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{19096.8}{1.1875}$
$\Rightarrow 16081.5ml$
$\therefore 16.081L$
Hence (b) is the correct answer.
