2 mole KI= 1mole $K_2HgI_4$
1 mole $K_2HgI_4\Rightarrow 2$ mole KI
0.4 mole $K_2HgI_4\Rightarrow 2\times 4$ mole KI
$\Rightarrow 0.8$Mole $KI$
Hence (b) is the correct option.
