If electric field $\overrightarrow {E} =( y \hat i + x \hat j ),$ the potential field is

(A) v= constant

(B) v= -xy +constant

(C) v= -(x+y) + constant

(D) None

$dv= -\overrightarrow {E}. \overrightarrow {dr}$
=> $dv= -(y\hat i +x \hat j ) . (\hat i dx +\hat j dy +\hat k dz)$
$\qquad=-y dx-x dy$
=> $dv=-d (xy)$
=> $v =-xy + constant$
Hence B is the correct answer.
