A uniform electric field of $200 \;Vm^{-1} $ is directed $60^{\circ}$ to $+ve$ X-axis . If $OA=2 m, V_0-V_A$ is

 

$(A)\;100 V\\ (B)\;200 V \\ (C)\; -100 V \\ (D)\;-200 V $

$OB= OA \cos 60^{\circ}= 2 \times \large\frac{1}{2}$$=1m$
$V_B- V_0 =e (OB) =200 \times 1=200 \;V$
$V_B- V_0 =200 V \quad[V_B= V_A] $
=> $V_0- V_A=-200 V$
Hence D is the correct answer.
