The energy of an electron in the first orbit of H-atom is -13.6eV.The possible value of excited state for electron in bohr orbit of H atom are :

$E_n=\large\frac{E_1}{n^2}$
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{-13.6}{2^2}$
$\Rightarrow -3.4eV$
Hence (a) is the correct answer.
