A ray of light is incident at $30^{\circ} $ on the plane mirror. What is the angle between mirror and reflected ray ?

$(a)\;30^{\circ} \\ (b)\;60^{\circ} \\ (c)\;20^{\circ} \\ (d)\;90^{\circ} $

Since angle of incidence = angle of reflection
$\angle NOR= 30^{\circ}$
$ \therefore \angle ROB = 90-30^{\circ}$
$\qquad=60^{\circ}$
Hence b is the correct answer.
