The probability for a razor blade to be defective is 0.002. The blades are in packet of 10. The number of packets containing no defective blades in a stock of 10,000 packet is

$\begin {array} {1 1} (A)\;2000 & \quad (B)\;9802 \\ (C)\;9950 & \quad (D)\;8000 \end {array}$

$ m = np = 0.02$
$p(x=0)=e^{-0.02}$
$ = 0.9802$
$ \therefore$ Probability = 9802
Ans : (B)
