A fair die is tossed repeatedly until a six is obtained. Let X denote the number of tosses required. The probability that $ x = 3$ equals

$\begin {array} {1 1} (A)\;\large\frac{25}{216} & \quad (B)\;\large\frac{25}{36} \\ (C)\;\large\frac{5}{36} & \quad (D)\;\large\frac{125}{216} \end {array}$

$P(x=3) = \large\frac{5}{6}.\large\frac{5}{6}.\large\frac{1}{6}$
$ = \large\frac{25}{216}$
