Find out the degeneracy of hydrogen atom that has the energy equal to $-\large\frac{R_H}{9}$.($R_H$-Rydberg constant).

Energy in H-atom =$-\large\frac{R_H}{n^2}=\large\frac{R_H}{9}$
$\Rightarrow n^2=9$
$\Rightarrow n=3$
$m=0,m=-1,0,1,m=-2,-1,0,+1,+2$
One orbital,three orbital,five orbital
$\therefore$ degeneracy =1+3+5=9
Hence (b) is the correct answer.
