A point object is placed at the centre of a glass sphere of radius 6 and refractive index 1.5 . The distance of the virtual image from the surface of the sphere is

$(a)\;2\;cm \\ (b)\;4\;cm \\ (c)\;6\;cm \\ (d)\;12\;cm $

Since the object is kept at the centre from the sphere all the rays coming from it are normal to the surface of the sphere.
Therefore they will emerge out undecided.
The image will appear at the same place ie 6 cm from the surface.
Hence c is the correct answer.
