As a result of interference of two coherent source of light , the energy is :


(b) increased

(c)Redistributed, Which remains constant over a period of time

(d)Redistributed , but the distribution vary with time.

When the sources have constant phase difference, the interference causes a constant redistribution of energy so that we get a constant interference pattern.
But if the sources do not have constant phase difference, the distribution is not steady and we do not get a set fringe pattern.
