Now $\lim\limits_{\large x\to a}\mid f\mid(x)=\lim\limits_{\large x\to a}\mid f(x)\mid$
$\Rightarrow \mid f(a)\mid=\mid f\mid(a)$
Therefore $\mid f\mid$ is continuous at $x=a$
