In $10^5$g of a sample of water contained 16.2g of $Ca(HCO_3)_2$ then the hardness is

$\begin{array}{1 1}(a)\;200ppm\\(b)\;300ppm\\(c)\;60ppm\\(d)\;100ppm\end{array}$

$10^5$ppm of $H_2O$,16.2gms of $Ca(HCO_3)_2$
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{16.2\times 10^6}{10^5}$
$\Rightarrow$ 162gms.
Hence (d) is the correct answer.
