An ideal gas occupies a volume V at temperature T and pressure P. The mass of each molecule is m. The molar mass of the gas is M. Which of the following cannot be an expression for density of an ideal gas?

(A) $\large\frac{PM}{RT}$ (B) $\large\frac{Pm}{kT}$ (C) $\large\frac{m}{V}$ (D) None of these

Density of a gas is given by $d = \large \frac{PM}{RT} = \frac{Pm}{kT}$, therefore the solution must be (C).
