# An unpolarised light is incident on a glass plate at polarizing angle $57^{\circ}$ with the normal on a glass plane. The reflected light will be

(a)Partially polarised in direction perpendicular to the plane of incidence

(b)will not be polarised

(c)will be plane polarised perpendicular to the place of incidence

(d)will be plane polarised in same direction as plane of incidence

When plane polarised light is incident on a glass slab at polarising angle, the reflected light is plane polarised in a direction perpendicular to the plane of incidence , and refracted light is plane polarised in the direction of plane of incidence.
Hence d is the correct answer.
