When a 10v battery is connected as shown in the circuit what is the potential difference across A and B ?

$(a)\;10\;V \\ (b)\;5\;V \\ (c)\;0.5\;V \\ (d)\;0\;V $

As the diode is connected in the reverse bias and practically no current flows through and hence the potential difference across A and B is 0V
Hence d is the correct answer.
