A change of 10 mA in the emitter current produces a change of 7.5 mA in collector current in a transistor . What should be change in base current to produce the same change in collector current.

$(a)\;0.25 \;mA \\ (b)\;3.5 \;mA \\ (c)\;1.5 \;mA \\ (d)\; 2.5 \;mA $

$\Delta I _{E} =\Delta I_{C}+\Delta I_{N}$
$10 \;ma=7.5 +\Delta I _{B}$
$\Delta I_{B} =2.5 mA$
Hence d is the correct answer.
