Electric potential at a point P , due to a point charge q at A at distance r from P is V . Then if double of this charge is uniformly distributed on a hollow sphere of radius 2r centered at A then potential at P due to sphere is

Answer : (a) V
Explanation : $\; \large\frac{k\;q}{r} = V $
Potential inside a hollow sphere of radius $\;2r = \large\frac{2\;k\;q}{2r} = \large\frac{k\;q}{r} = V$
