An ideal gas kept in vessel has rms spped of 200 m/s. If 10% of the gas leaks out of the vessel, then the rms speed of the remaining molecules is?

(A) 400 m/s (B) 150 m/s (C) 300 m/s (D) 200 m/s

When there is leakage, the gas doesnt change the temperature of the surroundings. Therefore the rms speed of the remaining molecules will not change.
