Two diatomic gases have denisities d1 and d2 under similar conditions. The ratio of the root mean square velocities is?

(A) $\large \sqrt \frac{d1}{d2}$ (B) $\large \sqrt \frac{d2}{d1}$ (C) $\sqrt (d1d2)$ (D) $d1d2$

$v_{rms} = \large\sqrt \frac{3RT}{M} $$ = \large\sqrt\frac{3P}{\rho}$ where $\rho$ is the density.
Hence, (B) $\large \sqrt \frac{d2}{d1}$ is the right answer.
