Gas-A is kept in the left partition of the container with a temperature of T at pressure 2P. Gas-B is kept in the right part of the container with a temperature of 4T at pressure P. When what is the value of the Pressure P' when the partition is removed?

(A) P (B) 8/27 P (C) 27/8 P (D) 3P

For gas A, $n_A = \large\frac{2P \times V}{RT}$ and $n_B = \large\frac{P \times V}{4RT}$
After oprning the partition, $n_A + n_B = \large \frac{9P}{4RT}$
$n = n_A + n_B = \large\frac{2P'V}{3RT}$$ =\large \frac{9P}{4RT}$
$\Rightarrow P' = \large\frac{27P}{8}$
