Answer : (c) $\;0.5 \mu C$
Explanation :
$\large\frac{k\;q}{r^2}=500$
$\large\frac{k\;q}{r}=1500$
$r = 3m$
Where q is the charge on point charge
$\large\frac{9\times10^{9}\;q}{9}=500$
$q= 0.5 \mu C\;.$
