The velocity of image will be :


$(a)\;-5 \hat i +5 (1+ \sqrt 3 ) \hat j\; m/s \\ (b)\;-5 (1+ \sqrt 3 ) \hat i+5 \hat j \; m/s \\ (c)\;5 \hat i - 5 \hat j\; m/s \\ (d)\;-5 \hat i +5 \hat j\; m/s $

Along x direction applying
$V_i -V_m=-(V_0-V_m)$
$V_i -(-5 \cos 30^{\circ})=-(10 \cos 60^{\circ}-(-5 \cos 30^{\circ})$
$\therefore V_i=-5 (1+\sqrt 3)m/s$
Along y direction $V_0=V_i$
$V_i =10\; s\;in \;60^{\circ}=5 m/s$
$\therefore $ Velocity of image $=-5 (1+\sqrt 3) \hat i +5 \hat j$
Hence b is the correct answer.
