Find the position of a point (2,3) with respect to circle $x^2+y^2+4x+4y+4=0$

$\begin{array}{1 1}(a)\;\text{outside the circle}\\(b)\;\text{inside the circle}\\(c)\;\text{centre of the circle}\\(d)\;\text{None of these}\end{array}$

$S=x^2+y^2+4x+4y+4$
$S_1=(2)^2+(3)^2+4(2)+4(3)+4 >0$
$\Rightarrow > 0$
Hence point lie outside the circle.
Hence (a) is the correct answer.
