A convergent lens of 6 diopters is combined with a diverging lens of -2 diopters.Then the power and focal length is

$(a)\;(4, 50) \\ (b)\;(2,25) \\ (c)\;(2.50) \\ (d)\;(4,25) $

Hence $P_1=6$ diopters
$P_2=-2 $diopters
Using formula,
$P= P_1+P_2$
$\quad 6-2=4 $ diopters
$f(in\; cm)= \large\frac{100}{p}=\frac{100}{4}$$=25$
Hence d is the correct answer.
