$\large\frac{Y_{He}}{Y_{CH_4}} = \sqrt{\large\frac{M_{CH_4}}{M_{He}}}$
$\;\;\;\;\;\;\;\;\;\;\;=\sqrt{\large\frac{16}{4}}$
$\;\;\;\;\;\;\;\;\;\;\;=2$
Hence answer is (b)
