A current of 2A when passed for five hour through a molten metal salt,it deposits 22.2g of metal of atomic weight 177.The oxidation state of metal in metal salt is

$22.2=\large\frac{177\times 5\times 2\times 60\times 60}{n\times 96500}$
$n=2.97\approx 3$
So oxidation state of metal will be 3
Hence (c) is the correct answer.
