  • Two events $A$ and $B$ are independent of each other if probability of occurance of $A$ does not affect the probability of occurance of $B$.
If $A$ and $B$ are mutually exculusive if $A$ has occured then $B$ does not occure.Since the occurance of $A$ affects the occurance of $B$. $A$ and $B$ are not independent
