Diazo compounds, sometimes donot respond Lassaigne's test for nitrogen because

$ \begin{array}{1 1}(a)\;\text{These contain very little carbon}\\(b)\;\text{These are quite stable compounds and do not decompose to elemental nitrogen}\\(c)\;\text{Their nitrogen contents is removed, during heating in the form of nitrogen gas}\\(d)\;\text{These form organo metallic compounds with sodium}\end{array}$

Can you answer this question?

Diazonium salts are unstable and lose nitrogen as $N_2$ gas on heating.Hence during fusion,no NaCN is formed in Lassaigne's extract due to the loss of nitrogen.
Hence (c) is the correct answer.
